Continuously, the LiveBridge Foundation has contributed to filling this gap as this is seen to be a crucial part of her formation- by serving as a bridge between Nigeria’s voluntary community and the social enterprise sector Livebridge Foundation is determined to deliver new innovative ways of building capacity in individuals.
Through numerous training in key areas such as; business development, welding, and fabrication, ICT, soap making, catering, carpentry, recycling training/ collation of municipal solid waste among others, the aim has been to provide skills training to the underprivileged on one hand, enabling them to earn an independent living and provide a sustainable pathway out of poverty or hardship as well as instill in them the self-confidence and individual potential through comprehensive training, leading to a job with a reasonable salary as well as the aim to develop processes to enable women to contribute to the family income, through income generation projects and by developing self-help groups.
This training delivers high-quality in both vocational and technical capacities for individuals who are unable to avail of such services elsewhere and since it is professionally designed, it is tailored to suit the capabilities of the trainees, providing participants with the opportunity to also train and get a job placement.
Interestingly, over 400 lives majorly youth, women, and children across over 20 communities so far have been impacted since the inception of this initiative.
By offering a range of specialized programs, projects, and empowerment training which benefit individuals as well as communities, LBF is truly living up to her objectives of impacting lives.
